Qingdao Pingdu Sanheshan Precision foundry (hereinafter refer to "SHS")was founded in 1985.In April,1990, SHS was approved by Chinese Ministry of Railways to be the designated foundry for production of axle box for passenger trains. The annual output reached ten thousand tons by the year of 2000,becoming ten tons cast steel industrial park； In the year of 2001,SHS passed the certificate of NQA ISO9001:2000.
SHS is located in the Shandong peninsula ,nearby national road No.309, 120 kms to Qingdao Liuting Airport, Jiaoji railways to the west, close to highways of Jiqing,Weilai,Qingyin.
SHS has 2000 employees now , covers an total areas of 200 thousand m2, including 120 thousand m2 of workshop area. More than 50 engineering technicians, including 10 chief engineers and 6 International welding engineers. In the year of 2005, SHS became certified supplier for Alstom, and for bombardier at same year, SHS products sold well over the country, and also export to Asia, Europe, America and other dozens of countries and regions. Marketing structure has been already developed into a foothold basing in Shandong province, in-depth China, expand overseas.
On 18th,March of 2002,SHS changed name officially to be as Qingdao Sanheshan Precision Casting Co.,Ltd, at same year, SHS became the autonomous company for imports & exports. SHS was also certified to be fixed-point steel castings manufacturer by Ministry of Railways(MOR), production code is "PD". In 2005,we passed the Alstom and Bombardier audit certification. In 2006,we got the certifications of Associatin of American Railroads(AAR)and Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer FranCis (SNCF). In March 2008,we got the certification of Deutche Bahn(DB); In Octomber,2008,we got permission certification of 16 and 17 type coupling hook fittings by MOR . In January 2009,we got permission certification of passenger train coupling by MOR. In January 2010,we got permission certification of bridge bearings by MOR. In January 2011,we got IRIS certification( International Railway Industry Standard).In December 2012, we got certification of CRCC (China Railways Production Certification Center).In recent years, SHS is getting become large scale enterprise for casting & machining majorly for railway products, supported by rail transit accessories, engineering machinery parts, heavy vehicles parts,bridge construction and mining machinery products etc.
SHS is based on strong technical capability , began the iron casting from 2010,now have one 10 tons clay sand casting line for sample making and small batch trial making.
Mainly concentrated in high level ductile iron casting,but not low added value products.
SHS did success test of low temperature ductile iron EN-GJS-400-18-LT （-40℃ ≥ 12J），and now proceeding the test of -50 ℃ 、-60 ℃
SHS has full production utilities for sand casting, investment casting, machining, pattern-making, heat treatment, physical and chemical tests, measurement and NDT test center. SHS can produce more than 30 thousand tons of different class cast steels. Products relates to railways, rail transits, engineering machinery, automobile, bridge construction and mining engineering etc…,for rail transits products, SHS make castings for bogie frames and car bodies.SHS turnover in the year of 2012 reaches to more than 300 million RMB, tax paid more than 19 million RMB.
SHS possesses advanced equipments and perfect quality testing methods. More than 200 sets of equipments relating to foundry,such as Intermediate frequency melting furnaces,electric-arc furnaces, 15-ton /5-ton of gas furnace for heat treating, chamber-type resistance furnace for heat treating (90KW,180KW,230KW,260 KW),shot blasters. More than 200 sets of equipments relating to machining, such as machining centers, numerically-controlled machine tool, boring & milling machine, vertical lathe, horizontal boring machine. Moreover, 20 sets of precision machining equipements in pattern-making workshop. Inspection equipments we have LAB type direct-reading spectrometer, CMM, WE-300 universal material tester, JBN-300B impact testing machine, XJG-05 metallographic analysis device,HLN-11,HBR2-178.5, HR-150A hardness tester, also dozens of NDT facilities.
